Why?

Because Dhamma, the teaching of Buddha Gautama (Godama) is an universal teaching. Well-expounded is the Exalted One's Dhamma, to be seen by oneself, here and now, not delayed in time, (inviting one to) come and see, leading inward, to be seen by the wise men for themselves.

The following quotations are said by a world great thinker:

"The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend a personal God and avoid dogmas and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things, natural and spiritual, as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description."
